You know, I never thought that there would come a day, where I would need my best friend just as much as she needed me a few years ago. I never thought that day would come, not once. But I suppose that it really has. Yesterday I returned to my university after a week of being at home, sleeping in my own bed, and being with the friends and family that I love so much. I found myself in a state of absolute disarray. I have never felt as useless as I did yesterday. And that night after puttering around, doing dishes trying and failing at unpacking the things I had brought back I sat down at my computer and talked to my best friend. We talked on Skype for almost an hour and a half. I missed home, and I was a wreck, but she managed to cheer me up and make me feel better. One of my other friends did that as well when I first got here but it's something about Rae that really just makes everything seem more pleasant and easier to take. She has a way of making things happier and since she knows me like the back of her hand, she knows just the right things to say when I'm feeling really down. So I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you so much Rae, for being there when I needed you. I know we drifted apart for  little while, but I know now that I could never do this without your support. It means the world to me. And to all of my watchers, I hope you tell your best friend the same thing I have. Because to tell you the truth I'm sure we all don't say it enough. How much we love each other, how much we care. How much every little thing they do is helpful to us and makes us stronger people. Our best friends are the ones who shape us, and make us who we are. Rae is the reason I still act like a little kid every once and a while. She keeps that part of me strong and keeps me from losing touch with it. She also keeps me interested in things that I never want to forget about. Like reading, anime, and of course simply just being silly every now and again. So yet again, thank you. I love you lots and I hope to god we never lose touch ever.
